“The Caring Canteen” Food Truck Ministry

Shepherd of the Valley received a $30,000 three-year grant to help with a food truck ministry around the Chinook apartment area. The Salvation Army has a mobile canteen that the congregations on Mendenhall Loop Road will take turns using to serve a hot meal every Tuesday night on Cinema Drive. 

Each time it is our turn to cook/serve (once every two months or so), we will need two people willing to cook a simple meal for 75 people and at least two people to serve. This is a great ministry to do as a family - talk to Gail Fenumiai if you are interested.
