Pastor Tari came with her husband and three kids to Alaska in 2008 from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan where she served two congregations. She graduated from Mary Washington College and Trinity Lutheran Seminary.
Her passions include feeding people, hiking, and juggling. In 2017, she worked with a group to start a Family Promise affiliate to walk with families who are experiencing homelessness.
Shepherd of the Valley has been an amazing place to serve because they are willing to take risks to love God and love the community. And we all like to play.
