SOV Hosts the Caring Canteen
Cooking and serving for the community food truck ministry
A variety of congregations take turns cooking and serving for the Caring Canteen on Tuesday nights. The Canteen is parked by Chinook Apartments on Cinema Drive. The Canteen has been serving close to 80 meals a time and there is great excitement surrounding it. Please consider being a part of this ministry. You can cook or serve on SOV’s designated time. Our next turns are September 17 and October 1. All food costs are covered by the ELCA Domestic Hunger Grant.
