Epiphany!

Season of Epiphany Begin January 6

The word epiphany means manifestation or dawning light. It is the season of the church year that begins with the coming of the magi, heads to Jesus’ baptism, continues with Jesus’ first miracle (turning water into wine), and ends with the Transfiguration. Through these events the true nature of Jesus is revealed. Epiphany is a celebration of this dawning light. Throughout the season, listen for themes of light in our hymns and readings.
