O Come, O Come Emmanuel

Oh come, oh come healthy planet Earth, and ransom we humans who are captives to global climate change.
Oh come, oh come peace in Ukraine, and ransom we humans who are captives to egos that imagine they can lead without humility and rule whoever they desire.
Oh come, oh come equity, cooperation, and kindness in governing; and ransom we humans who are captives to divisiveness and fear.

Rejoice, rejoice! Health, Peace, and Cooperation shall come to you, oh people filled with the Love of the Holy Spirit.

Oh God, use us this Advent season as your children who daily foster a healthy Earth, a peaceful world, and governing with equity and kindness.  We have so much to learn.  We ask in Jesus name.  Amen.
