March 7 - The Lions' Den

Daniel had a deep trusting, and unwavering faith.  Even in the face of adversity he continued to practice his daily prayer knowing the potential danger of the lion’s den.  

His story draws similarities to trusting God’s protection and deliverance in our own challenges. Finding that courage even when things seem impossible. 

We all have our challenges and “lions” in our lives. 

How does Daniel’s steadfastness to prayer that was forbidden inspire you to strengthen your daily prayer and your relationships with God and others?

What are the challenges or “lions” you are facing? How can you build your faith and trust in God during these times?

How can you show your faith through actions, even when those actions may be unpopular or difficult?

Lord, Thank you for the example of David. He remained faithful to you even when he was faced with extreme danger. Help us to remember his courage and trust in you to deliver us from our lions.  Amen
