Helpers

 

 

“We lift up our eyes to the hills--

where does our help come from?

Our help comes from the Lord,

the Maker of heaven and earth.”            Psalm 121: 1-2  (Paraphrased using plural nouns)

 

After I got my first Covid-19 vaccination this weekend, I was left with the intense feeling of gratitude for each of the Helpers who were there at the CBJ clinic.  From the crowd control, security, EMT squad (just in case), check in/out clerks, question answers, IT Helpers & of course, the folks giving the vaccines, all these wonderful Juneau folks had nothing else in mind but to be Helpers.

 

Whether or not all of these folks may have been faith believers,  I’m convinced they were made by God, who also installed compassion in their souls to be Helpers.  God brought them together to help as surely as God made our universe.
