I have hesitated about this little test of sending a pic of an ornament that is supposed to be my favorite. My household over the last several years, has not had any decorations because they only brought about memories of what could have been and about the many people we now mourn and miss.

Gold ornaments have always been my favorite because I've always felt they bring a certain quality or class so to speak, to not just the tree, but to it's surroundings. Gold colored lights and jewelry even grab my eye.

Gold often reminds me of Revelations 21 where it talks about Heaven and the "great street of the city was of gold, as pure as transparent glass", which is a visual I think we can all see and imagine in our minds. Ornaments can not compare to this visual, or at least none I've seen, but yet, gold is beautiful even if it's not transparent glass. Blessings to all this holiday season.
