“The Caring Canteen” Food Truck Ministry Begins!

Shepherd of the Valley received a $30,000 three-year grant to help with a food truck ministry around the Chinook apartment area. The Salvation Army has a mobile canteen that the congregations on Mendenhall Loop Road will take turns using to serve a hot meal every Tuesday night on Cinema Drive. Shepherd of the Valley is first on the list and serves April 30. Each time it is our turn to cook/serve (once every two months or so), we will need two people willing to cook a simple meal for 50 people and at least two people to serve.
